Eduroam (eng. Education Roaming) – international wireless network (WI-FI) of academic organisations
As a user of VMU Eduroam wireless network, you will be able to use a wireless network in other organisations that are participating in this Project.
All Eduroam users have to perform two following steps in order to use services:
- Register new user of the Eduroam naujo;
- Computer‘s configuration for the connection to wireless network.
1st step:
If you are willing to use Eduroam services in VMU, you have to perform registration. You may do that by visiting this link https://oracle.vdu.lt/wireless . In the opened window you have to enter your VDU SSO ID name and password. You will be informed in a special notice if your registration was successful.
Notice: password has to be changed only if you have changed your user password.
2nd step (only in Lithuanian with visual information):
- Computer‘s configuration for the connection to wireless network: Windows XP OS;
- Computer‘s configuration for the connection to wireless network: Windows Vista OS;
- Computer‘s configuration for the connection to wireless network: Windows 7 OS;
- Computer‘s configuration for the connection to wireless network: Windows 8/8.1 OS;
- Computer‘s configuration for the connection to wireless network: Mac OS X;
- Mobile device‘s configuration for the connection to wireless network: Windows Mobile 7;
- Mobile device‘s configuration for the connection to wireless network: Google Android OS;
- Mobilaus įrenginio konfigūravimas prisijungimui prie VDU Eduroam bevielio tinklo: Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
- Mobile device‘s configuration for the connection to wireless network: Symbian OS;
- Mobile device‘s configuration for the connection to wireless network: Apple iOS (iPhone/iPad).
