Eduroam (Educational Roaming) is a Project which aims to provide visitors of academic institutions easy and secure network Access.
Eduroam service is roaming access service, which allows any user from an eduroam participating site to get a network access to wireless internet at any institution connected to eduroam. Eduroam’s secure and privacy-preserving technology means that for the user of academic institution there is no need to enter usernames and passwords, because device will identify a valid eduroam access point and log-in automatically. No additional registration is needed. Eduroam services may be used if:
- User is part of an academic organisation;
- Academic organisation has implemented a single authentification system.
